Oscar-winning musician AR Rahaman’s concert was stopped by Pune Police officer on Sunday. He was performing at Raja Bahadur Mills in Maharashtra city and Pune Police officer instructed him to wind up the concert immediately.
Early Life:
AR Rahaman is an extensive body in Indian Music, known as a music composer and also known as the nickname “the Mozart of Madras.” His Father R.K. Sekhar, is also an eminent Tamil musician whose composition scores for the Malayalam film industry. AR Rahaman started studying piano at age four. AR Rahaman’s concert was stopped by Pune Police officer on Sunday. He was performing at Raja Bahadur Mills in Maharashtra City and Pune Police officer instructed him to wind up the concert immediately.
This incident has gone viral on social media platforms, a police officer can be seen walking on the stage and asking Rahman, other artists and organisers to stop the music show. The organiser’s directions by the officer to end the show as it went on after the 10 pm deadline. News agency PTI says, “As the deadline of 10 pm had passed, we asked him (Rahman) and other artists to stop the show. They followed the instructions and stopped the show.” In the video Santosh Patil, inspector of the Bundgarden police station observed in the video asking Rahman and other artists playing music to stop by pointing at his watch, as saying.
